Nice to meet you!
I’m Nat, a 2D character designer working in animated TV productions.

At the core of my work is character design, developing ideas from early sketches through to clean, production-ready artwork. I enjoy exploring personality, shape language, and appeal, and I’m especially interested in how characters move, perform, and fit into a larger world. Most of my professional experience comes from animated TV production, which has shaped the way I approach design with both creativity and practicality in mind.
I work within visual development, focusing on character clarity, consistency, and designs that support animation pipelines. I’m used to collaborating closely with art directors and directors, adapting existing IP, and developing original characters that are meant to work beyond a single illustration and hold up throughout production. I also design props when needed, to support character action and storytelling.
I’ve worked on animated TV productions including Bossy Bear (Nick Jr.), Pucio, Molly of Denali (PBS Kids / CBC Kids) and Rocket Saves the Day (PBS Kids / CBC Kids).
Drawing has always been a big part of my life. I grew up watching animation, reading comics, and constantly sketching characters and imaginary creatures, and that curiosity still influences how I work today. While most of my professional projects are digital, I enjoy using traditional tools like ink, pencils, and markers, and often bring that tactile feel into my digital work.
Over the years, I’ve worked with studios and clients across different countries and creative fields, and I’ve also taken part in exhibitions, comic conventions, and educational projects supporting children’s creativity and storytelling. These experiences continue to shape how I think about character, story, and visual expression beyond day-to-day production work.
I currently work with studios as well as on freelance projects, and I’m always interested in character-driven work where design, performance, and visual storytelling come together.
If you’d like to work together or learn more about my process, feel free to get in touch.
