Ego Death is an animated lyric video for Ty Dolla $ign featuring Kanye West, FKA twigs & Skrillex, produced by Pamanama Studios LLC. The project combines stylised character animation with graphic, performance-driven storytelling designed to support the rhythm and tone of the track.

 

My Role

I worked as part of the animation team as a Character Designer, Animator, and Clean-Up Artist. My responsibilities included character design and animation for select shots featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West, as well as character design and animation for the Queen Latifah shot. I also contributed clean-up and colour on pencil tests, created in-betweens for multiple shots, and supported animation polish across the video.

Production Context

Working on a music video required fast iteration, strong readability in motion, and clean execution under a tight schedule. The project strengthened my experience in performance-focused animation work and production-ready delivery across multiple stages of the pipeline.
